after going through all the clips I have realise I shot all the clips in a quality that is very hard to use, the images hace come out at a resolution of 1280 x 1024. so big that my video editor wont display the whole clip. I did try converting the images into a smaller format but they came out all jumpy and the quality was disgusting so I am going to use what I got and make it look good if I can, I'll let you all know when it is done.

good news everyone, I have just found a way to resize the clips in the video editor, I'm using a more professional version than the one I'm used to so I'm still getting the hang of it but it's all working out ok, and everything is looking good, I'll keep you all posted on further developements.
